Erica Wright is an expert content creator, award-winning Senior Producer, and On-Air Talent with experience in television, digital, and streaming production at the local market and network level.
Career adventures include lounging in Karl Lagerfeld’s hotel suite in Paris, champagne showers celebrating American Pharoah’s Triple Crown, being handcuffed to a $1M+ watch, shooting stand-ups in front of the billboards of Times Square, looking down on a sea of yachts from the tallest penthouse in Monaco, touring the Virgin Galactic spaceship, dressing up as a flight attendant on Squawk Box, holding the iconic Honus Wagner baseball card, getting locked out on a hotel balcony overlooking Lake Geneva, rocking the Rockefeller Emerald ring at Christie’s auction house, and modeling over $500 million worth of jewelry and diamonds.

Previously, Wright was tapped to join the development team for the launch of Warner Media's streaming service, CNN+, creating original content while managing multiple teams and show productions. Prior to joining Warner Media, Wright was a leading producer at CNBC’s global headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, N.J. For over a decade, Wright produced special features all over the world for the #1 business news network bringing unique stories to CNBC viewers from Dubai, Monaco, the U.K. and more. She has successfully managed hundreds of multi-camera productions and launched several dayside segments. A Senior Producer who excels in all aspects of production, Wright has executed features with billionaires, former heads of state, and executives of some of the world’s largest companies.
A veteran journalist, Wright has created groundbreaking features on a range of topics such as diversity and inclusion, personal finance, the battle for secure banking in the medical marijuana industry, retirement tips, exclusive investigative segments, and more. Wright also co-hosted and produced a digital series on CNBC's YouTube and Facebook channels that garnered hundreds of millions of views.
As a pioneer in primetime coverage, Wright has helped conceptualize and develop documentaries and numerous pilot programs within CNBC. In 2015, she was Lead Producer of a documentary she pitched and developed: a program that followed the journey of Triple Crown winner American Pharoah, the first horse in 37 years to claim that prestigious title.
Lifestyle and luxury storytelling is a specialty for Wright, who has secured VIP access to some of the most exclusive and historic brands on the planet as a founding Producer of the primetime series, Secret Lives of the Super Rich. Beyond luxury, Wright has produced career profiles focusing on dangerous jobs in America, contributed to countless network documentaries and co-produced an investigative piece on U.S. government trade policies. Wright has also covered more than a decade of elections, most notably triggering live voting results as polls closed during CNBC’s Presidential and midterm elections coverage. In between her assignments, Wright co-chaired the events team for the NBCUniversal Women’s Network.
No stranger to launching special projects, Wright was one of the first "Digital Backpack Journalists" ever hired in the New York City market at WNYW-Fox 5 News in 2008. As a Web Reporter and Field Producer for Fox 5, she covered everything from breaking news to special feature programs. Wright earned an Emmy nomination in 2011 for her work on a primetime special for WNYW. She also spent time working at Fox News Channel's Documentary Unit and served as online Anchor for Rasmussen Reports where she covered the 2008 Presidential Election while developing the company’s online video network.
Wright is also Co-Founder of The Wright Group at Christie's International Real Estate in Montclair, with her husband Curtis. Curtis and Erica leverage their vast experience to deliver seamless, record-breaking results as a full-service Real Estate team, hyperfocused on Montclair and surrounding areas in northern New Jersey, as well as the Jersey Shore.
